Shocking to all Madbum was mortal, yet the Jints came out on top. Special thanks goes to Johnny "Giftwrap" Cueto for allowing 9 runs (8 earned) in 6 innings. The Jints broke open a 5-5 tie with 5 runs in the 7th. KC added 2 in the ninth to put to make it closer on the scoreboard. Tough to pick an offensive star for a team that amassed 11 runs on 19 hits. Maybe we should just single out Matt Duffy for taking the collar (0-6), but that would seem unfair. Brandon Crawford (3-5) scored 3 and knocked in 2. Blanco and Aoki each had 3 knocks and Posey had 4.
